Dr. Robert H. White

Dr. Robert H. White completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry at Northwestern University in Oklahoma. He completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry. He was one of the first few students to graduate early from dental school due to honored accomplishments. Dr. Robert completed his orthodontic residency at the UMKC School of Dentistry and served three years in the U.S. Army Dental Corps (stationed in Germany) as a Major and Associate Director of Orthodontics.

Dr. Robert started his practice in the Kansas City area in 1974, opening offices in the Brookside area in Missouri and Iola, Kansas. He was a clinical instructor at the UMKC Dental School and presented lectures for the students and various organizations.

Dr. Robert is a member of the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association and the Greater Kansas Dental Society. He is also a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists. He is a certified Invisalign® provider.

Dr. White is a founding board member of T.A.K.E., the Ali Kemp Educational Defense Foundation that teaches young girls and women self-defense techniques. Dr. White is an active member in his church. His favorite hobby is fishing, but he also enjoys traveling and music.

Dr. Loretta R. White

Dr. Loretta R. White received a scholarship to Monticello College and completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry. She practiced dental hygiene for three years as a civilian for the Department of Defense in an Army clinic in Ludwigsburg, Germany. Upon returning to the states, she entered dental school at the University of Missouri Kansas City. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in 1982, graduating cum laude. She was awarded the Pierre Fauchard Award (outstanding senior dental student). She and a classmate were the first two women to be selected for the orthodontic program at the University of Missouri Kansas City. She completed her orthodontic residency in 1984.

Dr. Loretta has been an instructor in the orthodontic program at the University of Missouri Dental School and has lectured to the orthodontic residents and undergraduate dental students.

Dr. Loretta is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and American Dental Association. She is a past president of the Greater Kansas City Orthodontic Society. Among other organizations, she is a member of the Missouri Dental Association, Kansas Dental Association, Midwest Orthodontic Society, Johnson County 5th District Dental Society and the dental honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon.

Dr. Loretta and Dr. Robert have practiced orthodontics together since 1984. They and their staff enjoy their patients and strive to make the orthodontic experience a pleasant one.

Dr. Loretta and Dr. Robert are married with one son, Tanner, a recent graduate of the Daniels Business School at the University of Denver.

Dr. Loretta and Dr. Robert lived in Germany for three years and enjoyed traveling extensively. They like boating, fishing, cooking, music and sharing time with family and friends.
